This is a quite cloudy so you cant see completely through it but still an amazing and gorgeous stone. Also stone has a small chip in the corner.
Optical Calcite is a calcium carbonate mineral, transparent clear to a cloudy translucent white. It can be found in light hues of yellow, pink, green as well as white/translucent. Optical Calcite is typically full of reflective panes that give the illusion of mirroring as it is a natural double-refractive crystal. You will notice when Optical Calcite is positioned over writing or text, the writing is doubled.
